HELLO!
I love solving puzzles and creating solutions to problems, so graduating with a Business degree seemed a natural fit. While I enjoyed working in finance I soon figured out it wasn’t truly where I wanted to be. Making a switch into the furniture industry, I definitely found it different yet more creative, which was the hook. In retrospect, I realized the seed was planted as a child in my fascination with architecture and antiques.
Fortunately, I also had an employer who saw design abilities in me, encouraging me I returned to school studying Interior Design. It was the best of the best ideas; I had found my zone.

Since then I have always maintained a client practice while satisfying my curiosity in all things design. This has included running a small boutique design + flooring shop, as a furniture buyer, a business mentor and working in furniture manufacturing.
However the best of design, without question, is the experience and pleasure of working with clients. From a one time consultation, help sprucing up a space, or working through a Reno project, residentially or commercially, it all starts with a conversation.
Design to me is thoughtfully comfortable, it’s aesthetically born out of what makes you feel good in your home, answers the need for relaxation, proper function and balance.
I believe in a design style that is timeless, spaces that are layered with textures and colours that are rooted in individual personality. Each is meaningful to those who live in it.
I explain design to my clients as simply the feeling you are left with when you walk out of a well designed space you really like. All the puzzle pieces click seamlessly together and finish perfectly with purpose.
