Baking with only Happy Calories
Hello!
My baking is made with only "Happy Calories".
When I offer it to someone who is tipping back + forth on the line of indecision, I feel compelled to give my spiel on happy calories.
Translation : if you cave into temptation + take a bite don't worry - happy calories just dance away in your tummy, ergo there's no ill effect from enjoying the baking!
Today I had a craving for cookies. I find there is no satisfaction for a craving unless you feed it exactly what it wants.
This lead to baking an old standby, which is actually quite healthy.
A cookie made from dates, pumpkin seeds, coconut, flaxseeds, oatmeal, walnuts, cinnamon, and is dairy free until I add Lindt chocolate bits. Today just called for a generous dose of chocolate!
They disappear quickly which means I'm always on the hunt for a new hiding place.
